About Us
The Society was formed in the 60s by a few like minded individuals who worked within the British Steel Company these individuals worked and trialed gundogs thus the British Steel Field Trial Society was formed.The clubs aims were to promote gundog training within the South Wales area and these aims continue to this day.After a few years trial status was granted to the society and we now run Novice and Open English Springer Spaniel Stakes and Cocker Spaniel Stakes.Eventualy the Societys association with British Steel finished and we became the Glamorganshire Field Trial Society.
